Above is a link to Gapminder, which is a tool for creating high spec maps using data provided by different servers. These maps give global results and the data is frequently updated. The advantages of using this software is the ability to create aesthetically pleasing and detailed interactive maps, with data that can be selected from a large range of datasets (over 500 different datasets). For first time users there is a clear tutorial which explains how to use the website. The only disadvantage I found was the speed at which the map loaded, however this is probably determined by internet strength, speed of computer, etc. I would rate the website as 4/5, with the only improvement being the possibility to input one’s own data to be mapped.
